Exploring TinkerCad skills to create my chosen design

1) Compact furniture set
Steps:
1. Take a box and change the size to a tall rectangle
2. Take a box and put it inside the rectangle, then click hole
3. Now select all the objects and click group.
4. Take a sphere, and scale it down to the smallest possible size and duplicate it, then drag it upwards and place both of them close to each other to form doorknobs
5. Now using a box, make a rectangle and place it in-between the spheres. Now you have a cupboard!
6. Now take two long rectangles and place them on the side of the bed and group everything together.
7. Form a thin rectangle that fills the space between the two sticks you have just placed. Duplicate this to form steps of a ladder.
8. Now, make four thin rectangles and place them on the sides of the roof of the bed/box. Make sure to leave a space where the ladder is.
9. Take one more rectangle and place it infant of the ladder.
10. Take a box and make it into a rectangular shelf shape. Duplicate it four times to make shelves. Now place them next to the ladder at different levels. Group all the items together.
11. To make a desk, make a very thin rectangle and put it where the hole is. Attach it to the wall.
11. To make a chair, scale and add a large sphere. Group everything together and you are done!

Reflection:
The basic shapes I used were spheres and boxes/cubes. I made holes and duplicated and grouped items. I found creating a cupboard was quite challenging as I couldn't make any doors that would open so I had to come up with a new way of showing that that was a cupboard. I found scaling some items was also quite challenging. Also, I had to work with basic shapes which made it even more difficult. I added a small division between the bed area and the ladder, as well as a built in desk and chair to my design.

2) Tablet case - More complicated to make!
Steps:
1. Take a half sphere and make it long
2. Take a box and scale it to the size of a iPad compared to the half sphere. Place it inside the half sphere and click hole. Now group the items.
3. Take a "Torus thin" then place it on the side of the half sphere. Make it very wide. DO the same for the other side.
4. Now group the items.
5. Get two diamonds. Make them very low to the workplane. Now place them on opposite sides, touching the torus thins.
6. Now group the items.
7. Create a very small sphere, then make it very low to the workplane. Drag it upward and place it where the home button of the iPad would be.
8. Now just make a small charger port cover from a box, group the items then you're done!
Reflection:
The basic shapes I used were halph spheres, spheres, cubes and torus thins. I used grouping and resizing shapes when making this product. It was challenging finding something that would resemble a strap. I made the cover waterproof by adding a home and charger port cover. These were also the changes made.
